Recently, Emma Thompson reveled that after her divorce from Kenneth Branagh, she suffered a major depression. It was her actual husband, Greg Wise, who saved her. She also told the media that she was so depressed she didn’t even want to change her clothes. But then, she insisted in concentrating on penning 1995s 'Sense and Sensibility'’. Eventually, work saved her too.

About the part that her actual husband and work play in her recovery, she said: “Work saved me, and then Greg. He picked up the pieces. I was acting on stage in 'Me and My Girl'. It was so bad that I got to the stage I wasn't really changing my clothes at home. I remember that Ken had this black cashmere dressing gown and when he was not at home I simply wore it”.

Emma Thompson is a British actress. She had work in Nanny McPhee, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and other several movies. She won an Oscar for both best actress and other one for best screenplay.
