According to the National Institute of Psychiatric, 7,4% of Mexicans suffer from depression causing a decrease in job performance up to 40% and absenteeism of 14 days per year.
As part of the Symposium of Depression: Knowledge, your best toll, held on March 25, 2010 in Mexico City, experts recognized that the country should allocate 10% of the budget to the attention of mental illness.
