Andrew Koenig committed suicide in Vancouver

Andrew Koenig, 41, just killed himself and his dead body was found in Stanley Park, a place he enjoyed in Vancouver (B.C., Canada). He was the son of Walter Koenig an actor who became famous with Star Trek, and an actor and producer himself.

He struggled with depression his whole life and was off medication when he died far too early, he still had so much to share, so much to tell us... During a press conference, with Judie, Andrew's mother, Walter Koenig spoke to those who suffer and think of suicide as an option:

"If you're one of those people and you feel you can't handle it anymore, you know, if you can learn anything from this, it's that there's people out there who really care... Before you make that final, final decision, check it out again. Talk to somebody. And for families who have somebody who they fear are susceptible to this kind of behavior, don't ignore it, don't rationalize it. Extend a hand."

There is nothing else to say: this father will live without his son forever.
